My snowboarding vacation was great. Hunter had a great deal, $70/person for a lift ticket and a night in one of their nicely furnished, slope-side condos, so I got 3 days and 2 nights for only $175. It's not the biggest mountain, but I'd never been there before so it was new to me, and they had some decent slopes. The west face was almost unridable it was so icy, but other than that the conditions were good. I spent a lot of time in the terrain park, and I was doing board-grabs (I don't know what the cool snowboarding/skating term for that is, if there is one) in the air by Tuesday afternoon. Now it's back to working like a chump. I need an exit strategy. |
