Signed the lease today. Had to get a cashier's check, and so I took the opportunity to check up on a deposit that I made a few weeks ago that hadn't yet shown up in my account. Turns out that Citibank lost it, those fuckers. The nice woman behind the desk showed me on her computer where the system recorded the deposit but somehow it never got credited to my account or something. She started an "investigation," so they damn well better find that money. Good thing I had my ATM receipts -- I consistently print them out for deposits because I always suspected that one day, Citibank would try to screw me.
Lots of people coming to look at my room tonight. I didn't really realize how difficult it is to get Avi, Dov, and me all in the apartment at the same time on a weeknight before 10:00pm, but I think tonight they will be around to meet the people. Hope so, because I'm out of here this weekend! Hotness! |
