Man, work was boring this week. I'm kind of adrift w/r/t whose job it is to give me sutffto do: I'm being phased out of my former manager's control but my new boss (who is the jefe for the entire office, the guy everyone else ultimately reports to) has yet to really start me on the new projects he's got lined up. So I spent yesterday and today reading about ADO .NET (thanks to my coworkers for the dexedrine that kept me awake) and surfing the net. I got invited to join Orkut so I checked that out, it's like Friendster with added features, a better look, and the backing of Google -- I'll send an invitation to anyone who asks, if you want to try it. I also submitted a story to Slashdot this afternoon which was accepted, see if you can guess which one it was. I revel in my nerdom. |
